HOME
The road passes quickly beneath my wheels.
Many places I have traveled.
Mountains and valleys
meadows and forest.
Some brilliant and alive
some serene and gentle.
But none so sweet as home.
The Prize
The smell pulls me from slumber
draws me with its promise.
My paws carry me toward the goal
my whiskers twitch as I get closer.
In the kitchen I find my prize, bacon.
