The following is page two of the screen play written by our very own Jagger.  It is broken down into it's acts, so if you need to leave and come back, you can easily scroll to your last stopping point.  Please enjoy the story.

-IX-

(Connor's loft.  The four Immortals are standing in the living room.  They each have a duffle bag or knapsac.)

Connor: So we all know what to do?

Methos: (to Duncan)  How many did Joe figure there was?

Duncan: A lot.  Too many for us to take on.  We need to regroup and plan.

Siobhan: So we go.

(The others nod. Hugs and handshakes are exchanged.  Connor heads for the elevator.)

Duncan: Cousin? (Connor turns back.) If you tell Rachel who you are, she'll understand. (He
        nods.)

Siobhan: (softly) Connor, watch your head.

Connor: Heheheh. Always. (The elevator door slides open and he gets on.)

-X-

(Connor is seen on a plane, Methos in the airport, Duncan on a bus, and Siobhan in her car.  Music starts sweet and sad.  Each of the Immortals is seen with someone they loved and lost.  As the music continues the people change.  Groups of laughing friends are seen through the centuries.)

-XI-

(Rachel's pub Glenfinnan, Scotland.  Methos and Connor enter together.  Rachel smiles at them from behind the bar.)

Rachel: Good evening, gentlemen.  How can I help you?

Connor: (smiles) We need rooms.  Four of them actually.  We've family joining us.  Would you be Rachel?

Rachel: Yes, I am.  And you're in luck.  I have four rooms available.

(They step up to the bar.  Rachel turns the register to them.  After they sign she pulls it back and reads it.)

Rachel: Connor and Adam Macleod.  Welcome to Glenfinnan.

Connor: Thank you.  I believe you know my cousin.  He'll be joining us.

Rachel: Really?  And who would your cousin be?

Connor: Duncan.

(Rachel's eyes widen slightly.  She looks from Connor to Methos and back again.)

Rachel: Well.  Welcome home Connor Macleod.

Connor:  Heh heh.  It's good to be back.

(Methos and Connor pause as the buzz hits them.  The door opens and Duncan and Siobhan walk in.  Relief floods over the group.  Hugs are exchanged.)

Connor: Any problems?

Duncan:  Not really.  My flight got cancelled so I ended up on the same one as Siobhan.  Other
        than that, no problems.

Methos: No, you wouldn't see that as a problem.

Siobhan: (warning) Da.

Duncan: Is there something you want to say to me?

(Siobhan starts to speak, but Connor lays a hand on her arm and stops her.)

Connor: Let them have at it, lass.  They'll feel better if they do.

Methos: Yes, I do.  Keep your hands off Siobhan!

Duncan: Don't you think she's old enough to make that decision for herself?

Methos: Ha!  You with your smiles and your charm!  She won't even know which way is up.
How is she supposed to make a coherent decision?

Rachel: They aren't going to go for swords, are they?

(The regular patrons at Rachel's have stopped their conversations and are staring at Methos and Duncan.)

Connor: (Grinning)  Not with all the mortals here.

Siobhan: (muttering) You don't have to enjoy this quite so much.

Connor: Most women would be thrilled to have two men fighting over them.

Siobhan: (Arms folded)  It loses something when one of the men is your father.

Rachel: Oh, yes.  That does make a difference.

(Methos and Duncan are still arguing.  The crowd is enjoying the show.)

Siobhan: Connor, do something.

(Sighing, Connor moves toward the arguing Immortals.  He places himself between them.)

Connor: Now, the two of -

Methos: (Cuts him off.) And don't you get any ideas about Siobhan either!  (With that he turns
and storms out of the pub.)

Connor: (Looks around innocently.) What did I do?

-XII-

(Scenes of the four Immortals practicing, Rachel watching them.  In the evenings the five of them sitting laughing, telling stories. 'Princes of the Universe' plays throughout.)

-XIII-

(A large room with tables and chairs.  Kage is sitting listening to a young Immortal.  Other young Immortals are standing around the room.  Ariel and Duval enter the room.)

Kage: What do you mean, you can't find them?

YIMM: They're gone.  We've checked everywhere.  They've vanished.

(Kage snarls in rage.  He backhands the young Immortal breaking his neck.)

Kage: (to rest of room, snarling.)  Find them!  They have to be somewhere!

-XIV-

(Night on the moors.  It is raining slightly.  A horse gallops across the moors Siobhan clinging to its' back.  A second horse appears following the first.  Siobhan pulls her horse to a stop and waits.  Duncan stops his horse beside hers.)

Siobhan: What are you doing here?

Duncan: I could ask you the same question.

Siobhan: I couldn't sleep.  I wanted to ride.

Duncan: There's a storm moving in.  You can't be out when it breaks.

Siobhan: I'm a big girl, Duncan.  The storm isn't going-

(Thunder rolls, lightning splits the sky.  Rain begins to pour down.  Duncan turns his horse.)

Duncan: This way.  I know a place.

(The horses race across the moor. They stop in front of a cave.  Siobhan and Duncan dismount and lead the horses into the cave.  They strip their saddles off.  Siobhan turns in a slow circle.)

Siobhan: So you come here often?

Duncan: Every couple of centuries.

Siobhan: Nice- (sneezes)

Duncan: You're freezing. (Pulls her into his arms.)

Siobhan: (laughs) You're just as wet as I am.  I don't think it will kill either of us.  At least not
        permanently.

Duncan: No, but we should try to get warm anyway.

(Siobhan looks up into Duncan's eyes.  His mouth descends on hers. They cling to one another.  Siobhan pulls back suddenly.  She jerks away from him and runs back out into the storm.)

Duncan: Siobhan?  What the hell?  (He follows her out into the rain.  He finds her standing near
the edge of a cliff.  An image of Debra Campbell falling from a similar cliff flashes through
his mind.  He grabs Siobhan around her waist and hauls her back away from the cliff.)

Duncan: Are you crazy?

Siobhan: Not crazy, just terrified! (She pauses, watching him.  The storm rages around them.)
There is nothing I want more than to wrap myself around you, tightly and never let go.
But I have never been so scared.

(Duncan moves a wet strand of hair off Siobhan's face. The rain beats down on both of them.)

Duncan: I won't hurt you.

Siobhan: Won't you?

(Duncan lowers his mouth to hers stopping millimeters away from it.)

Duncan: No.

(Crushes her to him.  Siobhan moans and sinks her hands in his hair.  Her body molds itself to his.  They begin to pull at each others clothes.  Duncan pulls off Siobhan's shirt revealing the satin and lace beneath. Siobhans hands shake as she removes his shirt and presses her mouth to his chest.  Rivers of water from the raging storm run across their bodies.  Siobhan slides to the wet ground pulling Duncan with her.)

-XV-

(The same time, Rachel's pub.  Connor is standing with his back against the door.  Methos is standing in front of him glaring.)

Methos: Move, Macleod!

Connor:  You're not going out in this storm.  You'll get lost.

Methos:  Siobhan is out in that alone.  I'm going to find her.

(Rachel moves silently into the room, a shawl covering her nightgown.)

Rachel: She's not alone.  Duncan went after her.

(Methos pales, Connor grins at Rachel.)

Connor: Well, now, lass, that would be exactly the wrong thing to say to him.

Methos: (snarls) Out of my way!

Connor: (pulls his sword out.) If I have to kill you to keep you here, old man, I will!

Methos: She needs me!

Connor: Aye, she does. (softly) But maybe she needs him to. (There is a silence.) Anything that
happens tonight will happen because Siobhan wants it to.  It's time to let go, Methos.  Your
little girl is learning to live. Finally.

Methos: I, I- Don't you understand?  She could get hurt.

Connor: Yes, I understand.  What happened to Siobhan and her mother wasn't your fault.

Methos: I wasn't there!  I left them unprotected!

Connor: Duval would have found a way.  What were you supposed to do, lock them up?

Methos: (miserably) I should have done something.

Connor: You did everything you could.  Now, it's time to let go.

(Methos nods, looking at the floor.  Connor reaches over and squeezes his shoulder.)
